"Face To Face" Position

Leaning on her palms and soles, the woman lifts her pelvis so that the man can introduce his penis in her vagina. Being kneeled he can catch the waist of his lover with one or even with both hands. This position enables the lovers to look at each other - to see how their desire mounts and to express their love. The woman can push gently her pelvis, tuning her moving with the man's coming and going movements. She can spread out largely her legs in order to take up the full length of her lover's penis.

If the man feels that he is get close to the ejaculatory orgasm he has to stop moving and focus his attention in the heart area in order to sublimate the sexual energy. This is available for the woman too.

VARIANT 1

The woman lies on her back, near the edge of the bed. She spreads her legs, placing one of them on the floor. Facing her, laying on top of her, the man plunges into woman's vagina with strong thrusts. One of his legs is stretched and placed on the floor and the other is folded.

With widely spread thighs the woman receives her lover right up to the hilt. The man can explore her to his heart's content - gently with the total length of his penis or - which will increase her desire for more - he can insert and retract his penis forcefully.

This position favours the complete intimacy of the genital zones of the lovers. It is not recommended for the beginners in the art of sexual continence because it favours the accumulation of the sexual energy in the genital area. That is why the man has to stop his motions when he achieves the preorgastic level and to focus his attention in the cardiac plexus in order to guide the sexual energy along the spine and to avoid the ejaculation.

VARIANT 2

This position is a variant of the classic "Missionary Position" or, as it is known from the Kama Sutra, the position "face to face". The woman lies on her back, spreads her feet as widely as possible, and allows her lover to glide inside her hot, wet vagina.

The man is supporting his weight on his arms and penetrates the woman in different rhythms, so as to excite her intensely. He may perform come-and-go movements either forcefully, or slowly, alternating superficial thrusts with deep ones.

Beginners in the practice of sexual continence are recommended to practice the pattern of nine thrusts: eight superficial and one deep.

The woman must not be totally passive in this position. She should take hold of the man's buttocks and pull him towards her when he enters her.

If the two lovers are sexually compatible, then the man may stimulate the woman's cervix through deep thrusts, making her experience cervical-uterine orgasm, known in the Tantric tradition as the most profound type of orgasm.

In this position, the lovers may express their sensuality, passion and love through their looks. If the man feels he is getting close to the point of non-return, he has to stop his thrusts, take deep breaths.

Both lovers have to focus their attention in the area of the heart, so that they guide the sexual energy to the upper part of the body. Thus, the lovers will experience a state of orgasm at the level of the heart center.

VARIANT 3

The Missionary Position or the so-called 'face-to-face' position allows the lovers to get into another erotic position without interrupting the intimate contact of their genital area.

The woman will place one leg in between the man's legs. Then he will lean over his lover, slip a hand under her pelvis, and push her pelvis towards him, in order to have a more intimate contact of their sexual areas.

In this position, the man penetrates his lover from one side, which may be quite exciting for the woman. The man may alternate come-and go thrusts with circular ones, as well as touching his pelvic area on her clitoris, making her experience clitoridian and vaginal orgasm simultaneously.

This position is highly exciting for both lovers because their erogenous areas are in close, intimate contact: man's lips kiss the woman's lips or neck, his chest presses her breasts, her clitoris is pressed by his pelvis, and her vagina is deeply penetrated by his virile penis.

However, beginners in sexual continence should carefully perform this position, as it favours the accumulation of the energy in the sexual area.

The lovers have to sublimate their sexual energy to the crown of the head in order to experience the orgasm with their entire being. Thus, the two lovers will avoid having ejaculatory orgasms, losing their sexual energy.
